Industry point of view

Get AI out of the partners' personal chat tabs — before the regulators do it for you.

Adoption has exploded across advisory, accounting, legal, and fund management — mostly as ungoverned individual experimentation. The firms pulling ahead are moving AI into governed, firm-wide workflows built on unified client data, while that's still a differentiator instead of a mandate.

What we see across the industry

Client data is split across CRM, portfolio and practice management, custodian feeds, billing, and document systems — so partner-level visibility requires manual assembly, usually by the highest-billing people in the firm, in Excel.

The regulatory direction is explicit: securities examiners have made AI representations and supervision a priority, which means shadow AI inside advisory firms has a shelf life. Governed, auditable AI workflows are becoming the cost of doing business.

Clients are ahead of their firms — most now expect their advisors to use AI. The window where firm-wide data and AI operations is a genuine differentiator is measured in a couple of years, not a decade.
