One data partner, adopted office by office across a national home care franchise

Right at Home: one scoreboard for territories from Boston to Seattle

Right at Home franchise operations across the country — from a 700+ employee multi-unit business in Boston to territories in Texas, Washington, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, and Maine — ran on the same tangle of disconnected systems: scheduling, recruiting, books, and phones that never reconciled. OBIS unified each operation's data into one real-time scoreboard, and the solution spread territory by territory across the network.

Situation

In-home care runs on many systems by necessity: scheduling, recruiting, payroll, clinical notes, referral tracking. Every office we met told the same story — weekly leadership meetings began with hours of report-pulling from five different platforms, and ended in arguments about whose numbers were right.

As the Boston CEO put it: no one person could look at operations, finance, and employee experience together at any given moment. By the time the data was assembled, it was already out of date — "you're flying somewhat blind, looking in the rearview mirror, and even your rearview mirror's fogged."

Solution

OBIS integrated each office's systems — scheduling, recruiting, accounting, and more — into automated pipelines feeding one real-time scoreboard per operation, designed around the metrics their leadership meetings actually run on (many offices use EOS scorecards, which we feed directly).

Every build went through a disciplined envision–develop–verify cycle with the owners themselves, checking each metric against their 20+ years of operating intuition until the numbers earned trust. Dashboards drill from network-level trends down to a single business unit and date range.

Results

Leadership meetings now start from a shared, real-time scoreboard instead of a reconciliation exercise. Owners cross-reference hiring, revenue, and expense signals in the moment — and spot leading indicators before they hit the bottom line.

The Seattle office A/B tests hiring-funnel changes with reliable weekly feedback. Chattanooga dialed in sales close-rates and client acquisition costs. Boston's CEO checks the whole business from anywhere without logging into five systems.

The strongest result is the endorsement itself: Chattanooga found OBIS first and has been "recommending them to anyone that'll listen" for nearly five years — and adoption has since spread territory by territory across the network.

Right at Home territories served include Boulder, CO; Tyler, Longview, Athens, Texarkana, Nacogdoches, Beaumont, Woodville, Palestine, Sulphur Springs, and Mt. Pleasant, TX; Seattle/Eastside, Bellevue, and Tacoma, WA; Boston, Haverhill, Salem, and Malden, MA; Maine; Clearwater, Manatee, and Tampa, FL; Chattanooga, TN; Atlanta, GA; Birmingham, AL; Tucson, Green Valley, and Sierra Vista, AZ; and Henderson, NV.

It is a complete game-changer for us… once you're in it, you know that you'll never go back.
